In the spring of 2024 I was invited to direct a main stage production at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Experimental Theatre Wing.
I co-conceived a brand new adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein with the incredible playwright Jaclyn Backhaus. This new adaptation focused on the queer themes running through the book as well as asks the question: who were the body parts before they were brought back to life?
I’m very proud of the cast and creative team for pulling together such and amazing show.
Jaclyn and I are continuing to develop the show.
